KADUNA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL TO HOST A VIRTUAL EDITION FOR 2020
KADIFF which has been the first international film festival in northern Nigeria and will be hosting it's 3rd edition this year will be going Visual due to the current COVID-19 pandemic affecting our society today. In view of this film festivals all over the world are adjusting to the new norm and organizing a virtual festival, while this is the new system pending when we can be able to gather again. KADIFF will be hosting a visual festival with the theme: "Harmonization, peace development and content sustainability" from the 25th - 29th of August 2020 via Zoom, Instagram live and the social media which will also stream on national TV.
In a special way we want to thank our media patners Trybes TV, pop central TV, Africa Magic/DSTV, Gafiligadoki TV, Hitmakers TV, Hijrah TV, channels TV, other media and the press for Supporting this year's festival. Itel mobile a brand always supporting KADIFF we appreciate.
The activities to watch out for at this year's festival are : Master classes, film makers roundtable, Talks, Panel discussions, film Screenings, visual tourism, Awards will not be as usual due to the Pandemic but recognition and special awards will be giving out to award winning films of the festival.
KADIFF to partner with the British high commission in Nigeria as we prepare for the virtual 3rd kaduna international film festival due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the founder of KADIFF express gratitude to the High commissioner for her Support and accepting to be part of this year's great event which will mark yet another history even in the pandemic.
The British high commissioner Mrs Catriona Laing will be releasing a video message on the 10th of July 2020 of which she will be talking about "Rape: the role of public figures in ending rape and possible solutions" as we anticipate the main event next month from the 25th - 29th of August 2020. The video will contain all of this.
